Our take

An open-source client for coding agents from the 21st team. 1Code wraps Claude Code and Codex in a Cursor-like visual UI with diff previews, real-time tool execution, a Kanban board for sessions, Git worktree isolation and cloud sandboxes for background agents. Bring your own keys; runs on Mac and web. Calmer than the terminal for parallel work.

Best for

Developers running multiple coding agents who want diffs, previews and PRs in one visual place.

Pros

  • Open-source, bring-your-own API keys
  • Visual UI for Claude Code and Codex
  • Worktree isolation and cloud sandboxes
  • Kanban view of parallel agent sessions

Cons

  • New project, evolving fast
  • Assumes you already use coding agents
  • Mac and web only

How it compares

Where terminal agents leave parallel work, diffs and previews scattered, 1Code pulls them into one Cursor-like surface, and unlike Cursor it's open-source and harness-agnostic.

Full review

1Code is an open-source coding-agent client from the team behind 21st.dev. It gives terminal agents like Claude Code and Codex a calm, Cursor-like visual interface - diff previews, real-time tool execution, a built-in Git client with visual staging, a file viewer and an integrated terminal - all in one app.

Each chat can run in its own isolated Git worktree, with cloud sandboxes for background agents and live browser previews, and a Kanban board to visualize agent sessions so you can work on several features at once. It supports custom models and providers with your own API keys, runs on Mac and the web, and the source is public on GitHub.

Composio

Freemium

Composio provides the execution infrastructure that connects AI agents to real software. It sits at the tooling and connectivity layer of the agent stack, giving developers one framework - SDKs, a CLI and 850+ pre-built connectors - to let agents act across apps such as GitHub, Slack and Salesforce. It handles the hard parts: complex authentication and OAuth, plus remote sandboxed environments for safe execution, exposed over the Model Context Protocol so agents can reason and then reliably take action. The platform is built for production, with SOC 2 and ISO 27001:2022 certifications and deployment across public cloud, VPC and on-premises. Composio operates from San Francisco and Bangalore and raised a $25M Series A led by Lightspeed, with angels including Vercel's Guillermo Rauch and HubSpot's Dharmesh Shah.
