Our take

Clario tackles enterprise data 'ROT' — the redundant, obsolete and trivial files that inflate storage and poison AI projects. It connects to Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive, Box and Confluence, scans metadata to surface junk, then routes a keep/archive/delete decision to each file's owner via Slack or Teams. You pay only when a flagged file is acted on. Out of stealth with $6M, June 2026.

Best for

Data and IT teams cleaning up unstructured sprawl before it undermines AI quality and storage budgets.

Pros

  • Connects to Drive, SharePoint, Box, Confluence and more
  • Routes decisions to the actual file owner
  • Outcome-based pricing — pay only on action
  • Learns from decisions to automate cleanup

Cons

  • Just out of stealth — early-stage
  • Value depends on owners responding
  • Scope limited to data cleanup

How it compares

Rather than another data catalog, Clario is a cleanup engine with an outcome-based model — it earns only when files actually get archived or deleted.

Full review

Clario targets data ROT: the redundant, obsolete and trivial files that make up a large share of enterprise storage and degrade AI projects trained or grounded on them. It connects into Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive, Box and Confluence and scans metadata to surface the junk.

When it flags a file, it routes a keep, archive or delete decision to the person who owns it through Slack or Teams, and learns from those choices to become a more autonomous cleanup engine. Its model is outcome-based — Clario is paid only when a customer acts on a flag. It launched from stealth with a $6M seed in June 2026.
