A built-in AI agent handles a lot of the setup and ongoing tuning, which is the real pitch - getting personalisation working without hiring someone whose whole job is personalisation.
That breadth is also the catch. A dedicated search engine or a dedicated email platform will go deeper than Clerk does in its own lane, so a team that needs best-in-class search or sophisticated lifecycle flows may outgrow parts of it. For a lean operator who wants competent coverage across the board on one bill, with a free trial to test first, it is a sensible default.
