Pebblely
AI product photography for online sellers. Upload a packshot and Pebblely removes the background and drops the product into a generated lifestyle scene with realistic lighting and shadows, from 40-plus themes or a text prompt. Free tier gives 40 images/month; paid plans are $19/month for 200 images and $39/month for 500.

Our take
Pebblely turns a plain product photo into usable lifestyle shots in seconds, with almost no learning curve - ideal for small sellers who cannot afford a studio. It is cheap and the free tier is real. It shows its limits past about 50 SKUs and on fiddly products, but for a small Indian D2C catalogue or marketplace listings, the value-for-money is excellent.
Best for
Small ecommerce sellers and D2C brands that need quick, decent product photos without a studio.
Pros
- Packshot to lifestyle scene in seconds
- Genuinely easy - no editing skills needed
- Cheap, with a real free tier (40 images/month)
- Bulk generation and 40-plus themes
Cons
- Strains past ~50 SKUs and complex products
- AI artefacts on reflective or detailed items
- Crowded product-photo category
How it compares
Photoroom is the broader editor; Pebblely is narrower and simpler, winning on speed for small catalogues but trailing on heavy-duty catalogue work.
Full review
For an online seller, professional product photos are expensive and slow. Pebblely compresses that to an upload: it cuts out your product, generates a lifestyle background from a theme or prompt, and adds believable lighting, shadows and reflections so the result does not look pasted. There is bulk generation for doing a batch of SKUs at once.
This lands well for India's huge base of small D2C brands and marketplace sellers, where a $19/month plan - or the free 40 images a month - replaces a photoshoot for catalogue and ad creative. Be realistic about the ceiling: quality dips on reflective or intricate products, and past roughly 50 SKUs you will feel the limits. As an affordable, no-skill way to make listings look credible, it does the job.
